You will write manual and automated test scripts, reporting results to the test lead. The ideal candidate will be expected to have sufficient proficiency in Selenium to be able to train and mentor current employees. Therefore,signficant practical testing experience using SELENIUM (IDE, RC, WebDriver, Java/PHP/Selenese conversions and running Maven/Team City) and other automated tools in a web based virtual test environment set up is essential. Minimum ISEB Foundation qualifications are an advantage.
You must demonstrate an in depth knowledge of the full testing lifecycle with exposure to formal testing methodologies such as AGILE and Waterfall. An ability to deputise for the Test Manager is essential, therefore previous Test Coordination/ Leading experience desired. In addition you will assist with other Online activities enabling and contributing to the smooth running of the Online product set, advising where appropriate on the risks associated with testing options as well as performing testing reviews of proposed application changes.
