Can I do work experience at Which?

We usually offer school students a week’s work experience every summer in our Research and Insight teams. There are six places and we allocate them on a first come, first served basis. To apply, email your CV to recruitment@which.co.uk plus a short covering letter about why you want to experience the world of Which?

Do you have an internship scheme?

We have a six week summer internship in our Talent (HR), Research and Marketing teams. Keep an eye on our website for more details about how to apply.

Do you run a graduate scheme?

Yes. We have four places on our graduate programme. It starts each September and lasts for two years. You can find out more and apply at www.graduatesatwhich.co.uk - applications open early October through to the end of January.

When will I hear back from Which? about my application?

We’ll aim to call or email you no later than three weeks after the closing date advertised on the vacancy.

Will I get feedback on my application?

We usually receive a huge response to the roles we advertise, so unfortunately we’re unable to respond to everyone who applies. However, if you came to an assessment centre or an interview with us, just get in touch and we’ll be happy to give you feedback.

Do you accept applications from recruitment consultants?

We always prefer to hire people directly. When this isn’t possible, we recruit through our list of preferred suppliers so we’re not looking to work with any other third party suppliers at the moment.

If I’m unsuccessful this time, can I apply again for the
same role?

Yes, but as we hold all records of previous applications on our central system, we suggest you wait six months after your initial application to do so.

Do I need a work permit to apply?

Yes. We cannot employ anyone who doesn’t have the right to work in the UK.

We are also unable to apply for work permits until all UK and European Economic Area employment options have been exhausted. You can find all the details on this at www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk

In exceptional circumstances, if we're unable to recruit within the UK/EEA, we will apply for work permits for highly specialised roles or hard-to-find skills. Again we will only do this when all our other options have been exhausted.

Will you accept speculative CV’s and applications?

No. We advertise all our vacancies on this site, so keep checking back to see if we have a vacancy that’s right for you.

Can I apply for a role without a CV?

No. To apply for any role at Which? you’ll need to answer some career-related questions and tell us a bit about yourself by sending us your CV.

Do you cover travel and accommodation expenses for interviews?

No. We ask our applicants to cover their travel and accommodation when they’re coming for an interview here.

Do you offer special assistance for interviews, like
wheelchair access?

We’ll always try to offer assistance wherever possible, so please email our Talent team at recruitment@which.co.uk to let us know what you need. The sooner we know, the more time we have to meet your needs, so please get in touch at least five days before your interview.

What’s the dress code at Which?

Smart casual. Not as smart as a briefcase and braces, not as casual as a sarong.

I have a disability. Is this a problem?

No, not at all.

Will Which? pay if I need to relocate?

Unfortunately we’re unable to cover relocation expenses.

Are you looking for product testers and freelancers?

We have a large portfolio of freelancers and mystery shoppers that we call on, so we’re not looking to add to this list right now.
